Matthew chapter 3 introduces us to John the Baptist, whose ministry can be summed up in one word: Prepare! John wasn't preparing a road for Jesus to walk down. He was preparing people for Jesus to receive. And that's where Matthew brings us this morning. We've already seen the Presentation of the King, the Pedigree of the King, the Purpose of the King, and the Pursuit of the King. Jesus isn't merely someone we learn about. He's not merely someone we admire. He is the King who demands a response. So our question today is: If we say of Jesus “That’s My King!” then how will we prepare for Him?
